Žiaľ, napriek tomu, že žijeme v 21.storočí, v informačnej spoločnosti, nástroje, ktorú sú využívané, skôr patria niekam do čias Márie Terézie. A o čo konkrétne ide? O motivovanie formou trestov a odmien (tento štýl riadenia spadá do tzv. transakčného typu riadenia).</p>
<p>Raz som sa stretol s niekoľkými staršími manažérmi, ktorí sa kŕčovito držali názoru, že ľudí nie je možné motivovať inak, než tak, že im budete hroziť, že budete v nich vzbudzovať strach, že budete podkopávať ich sebaúctu. Nebolo ich možné presvedčiť o tom, že to skrátka ide aj inak. Napríklad takto (video som objavil na stránke <a href="http://www.vedeme.cz">vedeme.cz</a>):</p>
